“The staff were extremely friendly and professional. The biggest issue is that the building is very old, and needs repairs. The first room we were given didn't have a working AC. The second room had an amazing AC, but no blankets. Just the cover and sheets. My husband was fine, I was freezing. Rates were reasonable, and I am grateful, as it was a last minute trip.”

“Great staff”

“We liked having a room on the first floor. We were close to the back door and packing up the car in a rain storm was much easier. Breakfast was good but the biscuits were not so great.”

“Train tracks behind hotel, sounds like the train was coming in the room at 2AM.”

“Very nice would definitely stay again”

“The whole place was clean and just like the pictures.Nice and relaxing with no neighbors too close.”

“Absolutely beautiful property filled with peace and history! Just lounging in the cabin and on the porch with the animals was worth it but the pool was just amazing and super clean. Hope to go back soon for another restful weekend.”

“Karen and John were both so precious! We didn't want to leave this peaceful paradise. We were amazed at the attention to detail. All we needed to bring was our clothes, as cabin was fully stocked with amenities. We enjoyed the exotic animals every morning and evening. We would definitely come back!”

“Very clean house!”

“The beds were not really comfortable. But other then that place was awesome.”

“Check in/out was smooth! Everything was clean, very convenient location, and everything worked properly! Wonderful getaway and a serene view outside all windows!”

“This place was wonderful! There were so many touches all over that made it clear they have thought hard about how to make a nice stay for their guests. My mobility limited parents loved the spaciousness as there was room to move (or turn around) with a cane or walker in the bedroom and bathroom. (Note: there are only stairs into the house but we knew that ahead of time and made it work without problem). “Property was as described. Enjoyed all the details of the silo, especially the amazing and creative ceiling fan. Communication was quick and responsive. Accommodated our last minute request for an additional night’s stay.”
